Something EVH doesn't seem to get as much credit as he deserves is Tom Morello's gutair scratching sound. Everyone seems to think it's only Morello, but Van Halen did it on 'Atomic Punk'. 1978! i'm probabbly wrong and most people know this but just wanted to put it out there, Eddie Van Halen is responsible for Tom Morello (to a point)
