I seem to recall Hendrix really respected John McLaughlin. But this vid happens to feature PK, so I will appreciate it in that context and not worry about who's "better".

Oh Please!! That's got nothing to do with the fact he doesn't get enough "airtime", that's up to the artist and what kind of public he is directing his music to, all music has a public a place and a time to be exposed, Phil has got enough exposure and success or recognition for his craft, secular and non secular....peace

Keaggy himself said that he didn't even record at Hendrix's studio until after Hendrix was dead. Another great guy who has played with Keaggy is Dave Beegle, both his solo stuff and his band Fourth Estate, he also gets way too little recognition.

research urban myths and I think you will find the Keaggy/Hendrix claim listed. Nevertheless, Keaggy is off the chart and should get way more recognition than he does... both in and out of CCM. Definately the best in my book.
