The satin finished maple neck is C-shaped with a beautiful fretboard of African rosewood. The big Dunlop 6105 frets have a comfy, quick feel you can really dig into. The buffed headstock and vintage '50s detailing give this electric guitar a solid look. An American synchronized tremolo has it’s 5 springs setup at the factory just the way John Mayer likes it with the stree tree slightly closer to the nut and the back plate left off. Jimmie Vaughan Signature Tex-Mex Strat
JimmieVaughan's playing is deeply rooted in the Texas Blues tradition. His preferred Strat features comes armed with 3 Tex-Mex single-coils; one of them an extra-hot bridge pickup. The control wiring is customized to handle this fiery setup. This smoker has a special tinted maple V-neck shape, original synchronized tremolo, and vintage machine heads. This Fender guitar is about nothin but the blues! A tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan and the Texas Blues this electric guitar has some unique features. There is a special "oval" neck, and lightning fast jumbo frets are smoothly mated with a pao ferro fingerboard. 3 Texas Special single-coil pickups provide the hot signal. Jeff Beck’s style constantly evolves. This U.S. built model is updated to reflect the more recent changes Jeff made in his Strat setup. There is a softer C-shape to the neck and the guitar features special-design Fender dual-coil ceramic Noiseless pickups, a contoured heel for easier access to the high frets, and straightforward Strat 5-way switching.
