Improvising with MIDI keyboard controller.

Back

Just a random session doing some random improv/playing with my MIDI keyboard (EDIROL PCR-M80) running Steinberg/Wizoo Hypersonic 2.

I apologize for the pauses between segments. I pulled a "Rent - Seasons of Love" and a rather crappy replay on one of my own compositions "Truly a Wonder". Whistling melody is one of those De'Vo vom Schattenreich crap...

I have a midi keyboard but there's a lot of delay. I can't use the asio option, only the MME. Do I need a better sound card or do I need the midi interface? Thanks.

Reminds me of the musical "Rent."

Unless you have crappy speakers, no you don't. All you need is a good sound environment (ie: speakers or amp) and you're set. What comes out, is up to you.

I do have a YAMAHA SW1000XG card installed on my machine, I probably should make a video of that.
